AI Albania partners with QuLearnLabs and EIT Deep Tech Talent on quantum education
A 12-week online quantum program starting Q4 2025 helps students gain practical skills with mentorship and industry exposure.
AI Albania is joining forces with QuLearnLabs and the EIT Deep Tech Talent Initiative to widen access to quantum computing education across Europe. The partnership supports an online program designed to help students move from curiosity about quantum technologies to practical skills they can apply in study and work.
A 12 week quantum program starting in Q4 2025
The QuLearnLabs program offers:
- Expert led teaching from practitioners with real world experience
- A 12 week, fully online format starting in Q4 2025
- Project based learning with close mentorship
- A focus on inclusion, with more than 30% of participants identifying as women
The course, valued at €10,000, is available at no cost for students in higher education. The program will start in Q4 2025 and roll out further across 2026, giving more learners the chance to join. Participants gain exposure to companies such as ASML, Philips, and leading quantum startups, opening doors to internships, projects, and early career opportunities.
Why this matters for Albania and the region
For students in Albania and the Western Balkans, quantum computing can feel distant. This program lowers the barrier to entry.
Through this partnership, AI Albania aims to:
- Help local students access high level quantum training without leaving the region
- Link deep tech skills with the growing AI and advanced computing ecosystem
- Support a new generation of talent that can engage with both AI and quantum topics
